The 1st Day: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Draa Valley – Mhamid:
Our 3 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Erg Chegaga will start by driving through the long series of Atlas Mountains and Tizi n Tichka mountain pass which is 2260 m high. Along the road you will notice the change in sceneries from tall standing mountains to sand castles. You will stop at Ouarzazat-the Hollywood of Africa-to have lunch. Late afternoon you will have a cup of tea with the town’s people. Later on we will continue our trip through Draa valley. Along the way we will be stopping at Tamegroute Mhamid to admire the Koranic library and the other Kasbah that is specialized in the fabrication of crockeries. As we reach Mhamid we will get off of the vehicles and find our way to the nomad camp. We will have supper alongside Saharian music and surrounded by firewood.
The 2rd Day : Zagora – Mhamid – Sacred Oasis – Erg Chigaga Dunes:
After having breakfast we will ride camels for one hour and then take 4x4 vehicles and drive across the Sahara to Cheggaga dunes. We will have lunch under the shadow of gigantesque tree. We will then return to Cheggaga dunes to have dinner and enjoy the splendid sunset. Overnight will be in a nomad tent under the bright stars.
The 3rd Day : Erg Chigaga Dunes – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Marrakech:
Today we will return back to Marrakech by driving through Draa valley, lake Iriqui, Foum Zguid and Taznakht. At evening we will be found in Marrakech where ends our 3 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Erg Chegaga.
