DAY 1 : AIRPORT / CASABLANCA / RABAT

Based your arrival time in Casablanca Airport. Pick up and start your 12 Days Imperial Cities and Desert Tour with a visit to Hassan ll Mosque, considered to be the largest in the world outside of Mecca. You will have an optional lunch at El-Corniche. You will move to Rabat in the afternoon, the capital of Morocco. Then you will visit Chellah ancient ruin, El-Hassan Tower and picturesque Oudayas Kasbah. And you will have a visit to Mohamed V tomb; who refused to allow Vichy’s government occupying during the WW ll. You will have your dinner at your hotel. Overnight in Rabat.

DAY 2 : RABAT / MOULAY IDRIS / VOLUBILIS / MEKNES / FES

After having your breakfast at the hotel; you will begin your day by driving to Moulay Idris, Moulay Idris which designed of the country’s first dynasty of Arab. Then you will move on to the Roman Volubilis. Afterwards you will go to Meknes and visit Bab Mansour which is decorated in green and white ceramic tiles. Continue to Fez with a visit to the synagogues which goes back to the 17th century. You will have the chance to see the ancient Jewish cemetery near the gates of the Royal Palace and the house where Maimonides once lived. You will have your dinner at your Riad/Hotel. Overnight in Fes.

DAY 3 : Full Day Exploring Fes With Local Guide

After breakfast, you will begin your visit to “the oldest living Medina in the world” with a local official tour guide.You will tour the Medina with its “souks” (markets), stopping at the gateway of the Royal Palace, the 9th-century Karouine mosque, and the University. You will visit also the tomb of the city founder “Moulay Idriss II”.Lunch will be at one of the traditional restaurants in the old Medina. After lunch, you will continue your tour to visit the Najarine Fountain, the old Harem Garden, and the Batha Museum. On the way back to the Riad/Hotel, you will stop to enjoy a panoramic view of the city.

DAY 4: FES /IFRANE / AZROU/ MIDEL ATLAS /MIDELT / ERRACHIDIA/ RISSANI/ MERZOUGA 

Today early morning, you will travel through the middle Atlas via Ifrane “Moroccan Switzerland” and Azrou . You will have a stop at the cedar forest for a visit to Cedre Gouraud Tree where you will see Barbary apes .

From here we drive further south passing by several towns and you will get the opportunity to view nomads living in tents alongside the way. You will also see the volcanic rocks. Our next stop is in Midelt where you will enjoy your lunch. Later on, continuing our drive by crossing the Tizi N’Talghomt Pass (1907 m) while enjoying the panoramic views. You will also cross Ziz Gorge and the tunnel. Near Errachidia, you will see the Barrage Hassan Al-Dakhil which has turquoise blue water. Continue our drive to Erfoud, you will have stop for a panoramic view of Aoufous palmeraie along Ziz River. Your journey continues to Merzouga via Erfoud through the oasis of Tafilalet, the largest date palm grove in Morocco. Get to Merzouga on the afternoon and check in to your riad. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

DAY 5 : MERZOUGA / RISSANI /  CAMEL TRAK / OVERNIGHT IN DESERT CAMP

Here in the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, the largest in Morocco, enjoy the panoramic scene of black volcanic rock on the plains, the bright blue sky, the green palm trees, white salt beds, mirages of water, and golden shifting dunes. Visit Rissani for the weekly markets where Nomads come to sell. Pass the lake in Merzouga to see the flamingos. Have lunch with our Berber family and friends before beginning your camel trek into the beautiful Erg Chebbi dunes. You will spend the evening in a camp enjoy a Moroccan dinner, Our camp is equipped with western bathrooms.

DAY 6 : ERG CHEBBI / RISSANI / TODRA GORGES / DADES VALLEY

Wake up early morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dunes in the sahara desert, then have your breakfast. After these beautiful moments, you will ride your camel back to the hotel where you can shower. We depart towards Tinghir passing by Erfoud and Tinejdad. Have a break for lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue to Todra gorges via Tinghir. Stopping along the way for photos and admiring the views. Arrival to Todra Gorges to enjoy its marvelous Canyons views while hiking on foot, and finally arrive in the Dades Valley where we will have dinner and spend the night in the hotel.

DAY 7 : DADES VALLEY / OASIS SKOURA / OUARZAZAT / AIT BEN HADOU / MARRAKECH

Enjoy breakfast and continue the journey to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou that is situated on a hill along the Ouarzazate River. This beautiful example of southern Moroccan architecture has been used as a backdrop for over 20 films including Lawrence of Arabia, Jewel of the Nile, The Mummy, and Gladiator. You will then continue to Marrakesh over the Tizi N’ Tichka Pass while enjoying superb views of the High Atlas Mountains and of the Berber villages. We will arrive in Marrakech late afternoon. Overnight stay in the Hotel/Riad.

DAY 8 : MARRAKECH GUIDED CITY TOUR

After having your breakfast at your hotel, you will begin your day to discover Marrakech and your first visit of the day will be The Koutoubia Minaret (The twin tower of la Giralda in sevilla, Spain), the Saadian tombs. The tombs consisting of splendid mausoleums built in the sixteenth century. Then Medersas Ben Youssef (Coranic University), domed Koubba and Dar Si El-Said Museum. Then a visit to the Mellah (Jewish Quarter) andJewish Cemetery, as a visit to the Major Elle Gardens of Yves St. Laurent. You will have Salad lunch in El-Medina. After having your lunch; return to El-Fna Square in the early evening, where it come alive with story tellers. Your dinner will be served at your Riad/Hotel. Overnight in Marrakech.

DAY 9 : MARRAKESH TO ESSAOUIRA

Breakfast and drive to the charming seaside haven of Essaouira to explore the port and to enjoy a seafood lunch. Enjoy your evening meal and spend the night in a Hotel/Riad Essaouira.

DAY 10 : Explore Essaouira City

Essaouira Today can be devoted to bathing and relaxing on the beach of this coastal city. On the fortifications of the old town you’ll be able to trace Portuguese, French and Berber architecture. Its whitewashed houses, cool breezes, relaxed atmosphere along with its friendly cafes, numerous craftsmen and the delicious fresh fish make this a charming place to stay another night.

DAY 11 : ESSAOUIRA TO CASABLANCA

Today we will leave essaouira after two days there and drive towards Casablanca through the coastal road, stop at El Oualidia for a seafood lunch. Then, we will continue ahead to El Jadida, where you will be able to visit the citadel, proof of the Portuguese occupation of the 11th century. Finally, you will arrive in Casablanca, having completed a journey that has led you through immeasurable antiquity. You will end your day with a farewell dinner and spend the night at the hotel in Casablanca.

DAY 12 : CASABLANCA / MARRAKECH AIRPORT

After breakfast, we drive to Casablanca airport, where the tour ends of 12 Days Desert Tour from Casablanca and Imperial Cities.
